Mike Hedges AM congratulates pupils on their A Level
results
Mike Hedges visited the Schools in his constituency this
morning where Pupils were receiving their A Level results
Mike said… I was delighted to visit Morriston, Bryntawe
and Bishop Vaughan Schools this morning and see pupils who had done remarkably
well in their exams. It is wonderful to see people whose hard work has been
rewarded. I offer them my congratulations as they set off on the next phase of
their life. For those going to University I would say, work hard, play hard and
make the most of opportunities which will be coming your way.
For those who didn’t quite get the grades they wanted I
would say don’t be despondent, chat with your teachers and careers advisors on
what options are open to you and don’t dash off to the first course you see in
the clearing system. Don’t be afraid to re sit.
Having been a parent who went through this last year, I
know how parents have been worried in the run up to today – you too deserve a
glass of wine this evening for getting your children to this point in your
lives.
